This conference, sponsored by THE CENTER FOR THE NEW WEST and the NATIONAL COMMISSION ON ENERGY POLICY, will explore the potential for the West to become a leader in the development and deployment of waste to energy and biofuels technologies. Discussions will focus on the economics and potential of biofuels production, challenges and success of biofuels production projects in the Intermountain West, and public policy development at the local, state, and national levels to attract investment in these endeavors.
